Pizza is the ultimate fast food. So, when three UBC art school buddies couldn’t find the gourmet variety, taste & appeal they were craving in a local pizza parlor, they created the Flying Wedge Pizza Company, and set out to UNFOLLOW the traditional pizza industry. Opening on Peace Day was representative of the kind of community spirit which still exists today, extending friendship throughout local communities with programs like Dreams Take Flight, which flies 130 BC special needs children to Disneyland each year.
